Austin Chapter
What We Do
Our Austin team operates directly within local shelters and resource centers to provide immediate health support and long-term navigation. Our core services include:
Preventative Health Screenings: We provide on-site blood pressure checks and oxygen saturation readings to help identify potential health risks before they become emergencies.
Educational Outreach: We distribute easy-to-understand health pamphlets designed to simplify complex medical jargon and empower individuals with actionable knowledge.
Resource Navigation: We connect individuals with Austin-based clinics that offer free or low-cost medical services, helping them find services that fit their needs.
Shelter Partnerships: By collaborating with Austin’s resource centers, we ensure that our educational materials and screening tools are available in the spaces where they are needed most.
